Thomas Keenan is Professor of Comparative Literature at Bard College, where he teaches human rights, media, and critical theory. He directs Bard’s B.A. program in Human Rights, and co-founded the OSUN Center for Human Rights and the Arts and its M.A. program. He co-directs the OSUN Threatened Scholars Integration Initiative, and has served on the boards of WITNESS, Forensic Architecture, and Scholars at Risk. He is the author of Fables of Responsibility (Stanford UP, 1997); and, with Eyal Weizman, Mengele’s Skull (Sternberg, 2012). With Wendy Chun he co-edited New Media, Old Media (Routledge, 2006, 2015).
