After years of fatigue induced by screens pointing our attention towards more channels than our body’s flows have – or should – evolve to accommodate, IRL streams were prioritised over URL equivalents during By the Mango Belt & Tamarind Road. The commitment to presence meant the festival took place beyond the mediation of live-streams and video recording, while remaining resonant through sound: audio documentation will be available for people to attend and attune after the festival dates.
