Živa Božičnik Rebec is an artist/researcher currently based in Ljubljana. Her art practice explores intersections of digital materiality, geological processes, and infrastructural phenomena through sculptural, fictional narratives, textual, and time-based works. Her work has been presented in contemporary art institutions and platforms as Museum of contemporary Art Metelkova Ljubljana, Modern Gallery Ljubljana, Aksioma project space, MGLC Ljubljana, Plaza Protokol, Kućća in Zagreb, and the Biennale of Industrial Art, Labin Croatia
