Yadira is in community and from the community of Quebrantadero in Axochiapan, Morelos, México, where she was born. She co-creates workshops, educational materials, projects and technologies. For over five years, she has facilitated workshops in embedded systems programming, creative computing and robotics, and community-led technology design and deployment. Her work weaves agroecological organizing methods as ways of relating to technology, bringing forward “tecnomilpa” as an alternative to extractive approaches to computing.
