Charbel Alkhoury, a Beirut-born artist and cultural practitioner currently based in Brussels, navigates the complex interplay of memory, identity, and urban transformation through his projects. His work, often expressed through photography and video installations, challenges viewers to contemplate the impact of history, upheaval, and displacement on both physical landscapes and personal psyches.

Monica Basbous is an architect, researcher, and educator based in Barcelona and Beirut. They work primarily with maps, text, games, images, video, and hypertext. They employ cartography both as a method to investigate and visualize spatio-temporal practices and imaginaries, and as a starting point for examining how power structures the production of space, knowledge, and their representations.
