Joanna is a Chinese-Australian game designer and media artist, who reinterprets established systems, power, and everydays through site-specific games, interactive installations, audiovisual performances, and transmedia storytelling. Utilizing elements from LARPs, post-internet aesthetics, and video game mechanics, her practice integrates virtual and physical mediums, sometimes in forms of superfiction, constructing alternate realities within the familiar, inviting critical engagement and reimagination.
