In response to the draft resolution Never Again Is Now: Protecting, Preserving and Strengthening Jewish Life in Germany, transmediale places itself amongst a large number of organisations, scholars, civic society advocates, politicians, legal experts, and cultural workers, that support alternative wording proposals such as those published by FAZ. The resolution’s threat to the constitutionally guaranteed freedom of the arts has been questioned by numerous scholars, lawyers, cultural actors, and activists.

While welcoming political initiatives that are committed to protecting minorities and preventing racism, antisemitism, and all forms of discrimination or ideologies of inequality, transmediale advocates for an initiation of dialogue surrounding proposed adaptations to the resolution of the German Bundestag, which could ensure both the protection Jewish life in its entirety and that of other marginalised groups, without playing minorities off against each other.
