The video installation The Unreliable Narrator narrates the 2008 Mumbai attacks, alternately from a position of the terrorists and of a seemingly impartial commentator. The video sourced from CCTV recordings of the siege, together with telephone conversations between the attackers and their controllers, suggest that the event was performed for the benefit of news cameras: “This is just a trailer, the main feature is yet to come”.
 

Die Videoinstallation The Unreliable Narrator thematisiert die Angriffe in Mumbai 2008, abwechselnd aus der Perspektive der Terroristen und aus der eines scheinbar objektiven Kommentators. Das Video basiert auf Aufnahmen von Überwachungskameras der Belagerung sowie auf Telefongesprächen zwischen den Angreifern und ihren Aufsehern. Es stellt die Ereignisse dar, als wenn sie für die Nachrichtenkameras gestellt gewesen wären: „Das ist nur ein Trailer, der Hauptfilm kommt noch.“
