Ottos Mops (trotzt) Is a game and yet not really one. At least not a conventional one. It varies themes by Ernst Jandl, encourages imitation, it provides stimulus to experiment and to discover, as well as providing a good base for dealing with language. Before the game begins, you have to enter your name and date of birth and from this moment on up until the point of conception, you are "counted down". There is only one chance to save yourself from this fate and that is to find Jandl and Otto Mops. To do so it is necessary to collect as many words as possible.

Ottos Mops [trotzt] ist ein Spiel - und doch wieder nicht. Jedenfalls keines, wie man es bisher kennt. Es variiert Vorlagen Ernst Jandls, regt zur Nachahmung an, es animiert zum ausprobieren, experimentieren und entdecken - und auch ein wenig zur Auseinandersetzung mit Sprache. Bevor alles losgeht, muß man Name und Geburtsdatum eingeben und von diesem Moment an bis zum Zeitpunkt der Zeugung wird man „niedergezählt''. Es gibt nur eine Chance davor bewahrt zu bleiben und tatsächlich den Jandl und Ottos Mops zu finden: man muß möglichst viele Wörter sammeln.
