D'Andrade is the artist-in-residence for the 2025 Vilém Flusser Residency for Artistic Research in cooperation with the University of the Arts Berlin (UdK). During the residency, D'Andrade is developing The ultra-reading method, involving a deep and transdisciplinary analysis of social, environmental and political aspects in a mimesis of what they present with the neurosis of reading.
Through the use of the anthropophagic word, D'Andrade proposes a form and language to transcreate through a translating process. As we live in a codified world of constant reading and interpretation of what we call the real, the social capacity for ultra-reading is amplified through pluri-sensoriality, time-fragments and an anxiety about the end of the history of the science departments. The behavior of machines and their coded language, which is primarily to read the real, then becomes part of the human, technical mimesis. In order to develop the ultra-reading method, it is necessary to absorb, process, translate and reorient semantic practices, using sound and visuality as part of the relational.
