Since 2025, the transmediale x ARKO residency programme has supported artistic research in the fields of digital art and moving image practices, design, sound, and media theory. The residency is awarded to one person of Korean nationality, based in Korea or elsewhere, working in these fields. Applications are open for artists, researchers, practitioners, designers, and sound artists. The call is open to all formats with a focus on projects that engage with the thematic framework of the open call and combine a strong artistic vision with a research- and/or practice-based approach.
