Arc Durukan is a multidisciplinary artist and sex worker rights activist, born in Türkiye and currently based in Berlin, Germany. They are part of Trans*sexworks, a peer-to-peer support structure by and for trans sex workers. Arc’s practice develops frameworks that respond to the lived experiences of intersectional identities and oppressions. Working across research-led methods and protocols, Arc creates operational structures – tools for safer work and shared knowledge transmission under conditions of precarity shaped by respectability politics – positioning care as infrastructure and foregrounding harm-reduction and mutual aid as grounded practices that generate space for survival, intimacy, and collective autonomy.
