Filmed ad hoc on phone cameras in locations across Ireland, two lesbians, perpetually offscreen, engage in a passionate dialogue. They debate the Irish Land War assassinations of its British colonial rulers, famine-era uprisings of tenants against their aristocratic landlords, and the struggle to reconcile newfound social progress with the harsh realities of fiscal conservatism, housing commodification, and growing class divisions. As they grapple with the tension between societal advancements and personal aspirations, LAND CRUISER explores the challenges faced by individuals seeking to realise their most intimate desires in a complex and evolving world.
