Nazanin Noori presents Dark Ambient, Contemporary Classical, Drone and Chant, combining Sufi devotional music with manipulated and unreleased tracks by the producer herself. The performance refers to the Sufist state of ḥāl and Pauline Oliveros’s Deep Listening methods, which involve leaving habitual consciousness in order to develop an internal sensorial world separate from that of the musician.
