Rochelle Webster-Nembhard

Artist Rochelle Webster Nembhard, one of the festival’s spatial architects, will lead Pray-per-view, a ritual walk setting the collective tempo for the festival day. Nembhard’s work weaves diasporic, ancestral, and futuristic aesthetics through ritual, art, and embodied practice. The ritual is supported by Yoon Ra.

Rochelle Webster-Nembhard is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice operates at the intersection of ritual, spatial systems, and embodied performance. She approaches ritual not as symbolic gesture or static form, but as an active, relational structure that organizes movement, attention, and transformation over time.
Yoon Ra is a sonic-video artist and expressionist based in Paju, South Korea, born and raised in New York and New Jersey (Lenapehoking). They activate projects of collective narrative-making as a form of documentation, at times becoming ritual. Pivotal histories are collated with music and present visual testimony, to counter myth(method)ologies of the state.
