Wairimũ Nduba

Wairimũ Nduba is a Kenyan cultural worker whose practice as a historian, researcher, emerging curator, and vinyl selector is rooted in and guided by African sonic principles, which holds music to be a site of communal gathering, healing, joy, and beauty. She is a classically trained pianist and has worked as a music educator within this field for the past years. Nduba founded and established a digital archive of Kenyan music titled Wer Jokenya, which seeks to celebrate nuanced and layered sonic histories that dance and stretch across time and imperial borderlines.
