Gosia Lehmann is a transdisciplinary artist, researcher, performer, filmmaker, and chef based in Berlin. Using techniques from film and theatre, she explores the interdependent relationship between fact and belief. Dilemmas, riddles, and magic tricks are her tools to investigate the subjectivity of “knowing.” She sees the world as being shaped by fictions that can be reconfigured into more hopeful scripts. Her current project examines the relationship between chemical substances, toxicity, and power.
Gosia Lehmann’s works have been presented, among others, at Haus der Kulturen der Welt (Berlin), Neun Kelche (Berlin), Rupert (Vilnius), panke.gallery (Berlin), Maison de la culture Janine-Sutto (Montreal), CYENS Centre of Excellence (Nicosia), Hošek Contemporary (Berlin), Naturkundemuseum (Berlin), Good Design Week (Tokyo), and Pixelache (Helsinki). She has hosted workshops and food interventions at places such as SAVVY Contemporary, ZK/U, and the Kulturforum in Berlin. She enjoys engaging in educational exchanges and collective experiments. From 2020 to 2025, she has been a guest lecturer at the Berlin University of the Arts, and in 2020 she co-founded the project space Solaris.
