Rachel O’Dwyer is a Research Fellow in CONNECT, the Centre for Future Networks and Communications in Trinity College Dublin. Her research focuses on emerging markets at the intersection of data, mobile networks, and digital money. She is currently focusing on how blockchain technologies are shaping physical art markets. Some recent publications incude contributions to Artists: Rethinking the Blockchain (2017, LUP); Paid (MIT Press, 2017) and Ours to Hack and to Own (OR Books, 2016).
Rachel is the leader of the Dublin Art and Technology Association (DATA) and the curator of the festival and conference Openhere www.openhere.data.ie.
