18:00 - Reunification and the Breakup of Yugoslavia: Images from the Wars.
Discussion between Dunja Blazevic (Director of the Sarajevo Centre for Contemporary Art) and Boris Buden (Theorist)

While much of Europe, both East and West were celebrating a new era of coming together, Yugoslavia was breaking up. Bloody wars in Bosnia, Croatia and Kosovo were both present and far removed from the changes in Europe. Again, the media played a strong role in what stories got told and artists also took up video. Did the wars create a new aesthetic? What was the role of art in this scenario. The discussion will look at works and address how the conflicts were represented, both inside and outside of the Former Yugoslavia.

21:00 - Integration Impossible: Performative Video Talk by Tanja Ostojic

''Integration Impossible is an interactive compilation of performances, art actions and documentary that questions EU migration policies and the notion of terrorism. I am familiar with popular border-crossing strategies that migrants have used for decades, and I reuse them as part of my performance. In order to re-claim my own rights that I have been restricted from by current EU laws, I have explicitly applied strategies of provoking the public with violation of these laws. Broadly, the performance summarises my experiences and investigations related to the situation of being a woman migrant in France and Germany.''  Tanja Ostojic

22:00 - Living in Your Time: Party with Tigrics

Tigrics (Robert Berezneyei) joins up with András Szönyi (both Hungary) to combine the finest electronic music with electronic piano for an inspired and engaging musical extravaganza.

Drinks available at the bar.
