A social psychologist, Harald Welzer (1958) is director  

of the Center for Interdisciplinary Memory Research at the  

Institute for Advanced Studies in Humanities in Essen. 

He is also research professor for social psychology at the 

University of Witten / Herdecke. He is author of 'Climate 

Wars. Wherefore it will be killed in the 21. Century', a 

book which describes climate change as a imminence for 

human coexisting provoking the collapse of the global 

political and social system.
