Özge Çelikaslan

Özge Çelikaslan studies video theory, political aesthetics, and media activism. She is co-initiator and member of video collectives KozaVisual, Artıkişler, and Videoccupy, co-curator of Video Vortex#10: Art, Activism and Archives, and co-editor of the books Surplus of Istanbul (2014) and Autonomous Archives (2016). Her videograms of political memory in Turkey, “Tahayyül/Imagining I-III,” were shown at 14th İstanbul Biennial. She is working on an open digital media archive of political movements in Turkey.
