Stéphane Degoutin

Stéphane Degoutin is an artist, writer and researcher. Born in 1973 in Toronto, Canada. Lives and works in Paris. He creates films, video and sound installations, theoretical texts, places, such as Mute, Empty and Cyborgs in the Mist, or the photoblog Lost in Créteil. He created the online installations Googlehouse and What Are You?, and the temporary massage structure Here is Where We Meet. He co-founded the projects Nogo voyages, and the LOPHresearch lab. He is the author of the Propositions / spéculations blog. He co-founded the Terrorism Museum, the collective Nogo Voyages. He is the author of the essay Prisonniers volontaires du rêve américain (Volontary Prisoners of the American Dream). He teaches at École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (Paris) and is a researcher at the LATTS (École des Ponts Paris Tech) laboratory.
