Frank Rieger

Frank Rieger, born 1971, is a hacker, author and internet activst. He is a spokesperson for the german Chaos Computer Club. Professionaly he has co-founded sucessful german startups in the fields of of mobile navigation and maps, information security and e-reading. His current occupation is CTO of a leading supplier of secure communication systems. His texts and essays on the impact of technology on society can be read regularly in major papers like the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung or Lettre International. Together with Constanze Kurz he has published two bestseller books on privacy (Die Datenfresser, S. Fischer 2011) and the future of work in a world of machines (Arbeitsfrei, Riemann/Random House 2013).
