Satellite, As Long As It Is Aiming At The Sky enters the Los Angeles-based Iranian satellite television stations during their live phone-in programmes. The video follows telephone conversations between hosts and audiences (mostly living inside Iran), where personal, social and political issues are being discussed. Initially exile stations, they generate a tele-visual micro universe that substitutes for shared cultural, geographical and political lacks. Satellite, As Long As It Is Aiming At The Sky unfolds a disintegrating tele-visual staging of geography, community and politics in a time of political crisis.
