reSource 002: Thank you for one more great reSource event!

Open Discussion with Berlin based cultural producers

reSource 002: Out of Place, Out of Time, the second event of the reSource programme after transmediale 2012 is over. One more event done, and once again a great mix of participants and audience.

reSource 002: Out of Place, Out of Time, the second event of the reSource programme after transmediale 2012 is over. One more event done, and once again a great mix of participants and audience.

The programme took place at Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien from 22-24 August. Three days of intense actitivies including a second round of the open discussion with the Berlin-based cultural producers and artists, workshops, installations, projects presentations, panels, performative lectures and a delicious collective dinner at the balcony of the Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien. :)

We would like to thank all the reSource participants, partners, collaborators, and enthusiasts for making this happen once again! You can see a selection of the events' photos on our Flickr, and soon the reSource 002 video coverage will be available on the transmediale website (www.transmediale.de).

The next reSource event will be held at Leuphana University of Lüneburg, on 22-24 November. With the title Researching BWPWAP we will address an International group of researchers interested in opening up some of the paradoxes of contemporary digital art and culture, by organising an International Research Conference and PhD Workshop around the 2013 theme of the transmediale festival, BWPWAP (Back When Pluto Was A Planet). Following the same methodology of last year, participants will be involved in the production of a peer-reviewed research newspaper – to be presented and distributed at transmediale 2013.

After the research workshop in November, the reSource activity will spread into various programme threads of the transmediale festival, and it will come back in the spring and summer of 2013 with a new year-round programme in various locations.

If you have any further collaboration feedback or suggestions, please write to us at resource[at]transmediale[dot]de. And if you would like to keep track of the discussions proposed by the reSource and its partners, subscribe to our reSource-net mailing list by clicking here

All the best and see you soon!
