Oliver Lerone Schultz is the chair of the thematic stream Anxious to Act.
Schultz studied Philosophy, History of Science and Ethnography in Berlin, extended by studies in Cognitive Science and Political Economy of Industrial Societies in Berkeley. After that he started to focus on post-media research, contributing to the initial phase of the Centre for Digital Cultures, where, among other things, he co-initiated the Post-Media Lab, was co-editor of the PML Books series (with MUTE London), and co-curated VideoVortex #9. Currently he is associated fellow in the research group Loose Couplings: Collectivity at the intersection of digital and urban space at the University of Hamburg.
