Kazys Varnelis

Kazys Varnelis, Ph.D., is a historian and analyst. His research focuses on the impact of recent changes in telecommunications and demographics in the contemporary city. As Director of the Network Architecture Lab and Co-Founder of AUDC, he undertakes speculative architectural research that has been exhibited at the New Museum, MoMA, High Desert Test Sites, CLUI, and elsewhere. He is co-author of Blue Monday and editor of Networked Publics, The Infrastructural City, and The Philip Johnson Tapes.
