Film has undergone a number of advances in regard to content and technology since its beginnings at the end of the 19th century, and its range now covers everything from art to entertainment All the same, films have remained confined within the borders of pre-defined plots and unilateral narrative structures. Viewers have no possibility of intervening or contributing their own ideas. Now, however, interactive technologies can expand film to make it a first-hand experience. Two people can simultaneously immerse themselves in the visual world and assume the leading roles irrespective of their age, appearance or gender. In this cinema of the future, the viewers can enter into the avatars of Romeo and Juliet, two classical figures of tragedy, and devise a sequel that plays in the Beyond. Moreover, a newly developed motion analysis and voice recognition system is capable of interpreting and qualitatively utilizing the emotional bias of the players' vocal pitch. On the basis of the combined analysis of all the scanned parameters, the simultaneous translation of motional dynamics and language makes it possible for two players to interact in cyberspace.
