Daphne Dragona has been the curator of the transmediale conference program since 2015. As a curator and writer, her main interest lies in emerging or recurring artistic practices and methodologies that challenge contemporary forms of power. Articles of hers have been published in various books, journals, magazines, and exhibition catalogs by the likes of Springer, Sternberg Press, and Leonardo Electronic Almanac. Among her recent projects are the exhibitions Tomorrows. Urban Fictions for Possible Futures (Onassis Cultural Center, Athens, 2017) and “…” an archeology of silence in the digital age (Aksioma, Ljubljana, 2017). She holds a PhD from the Faculty of Communication & Media Studies of the University of Athens.
