Computerspielemuseum / Global Game Jam
A MAZE. presents the Global Game Jam (GGj) 2012 in cooperation with Computerspielemuseum, Gamestorm, Mini Jam Berlin from 27 January to 29 January 2011. Starting on Friday at 16:00 and ending on Sunday at 16:00, GGj is an international Hands-On Game Festival which takes place in over 180 cities world wide on the same weekend. The participants produce experimental computer games which will be uploaded to the main GGJ website at the end of the weekend. From there anyone can download and play the games. GGj is a wonderful opportunity for participants to expand their horizons, challenge themselves and meet new people. Develop a finished game with strangers who share the same passion as you over two days.
Computerspielemuseum is the world's first museum devoted to digital interactive entertainment culture. Since their opening in 1997, they have documented the development of the medium at over 30 national and international exhibitions. More than 300 exhibits are shown in their new permanent exhibition in an interactive and experiment-friendly environment that conveys the cultural history of computer and video games.
Cost of participation: 20€ - just 30 participants possible
