At this year’s transmediale, the Collegium Hungaricum Berlin (.CHB) will host and co-produce an exhibition of the installations, Coincidence Engines I and II by Canadian artist duo [The User], who are nominated for the transmediale Award.
The exhibition will be open at the Long Night of the Museums on 30 January 2010. A special opening preview will take place at 17:00 that day.

The Collegium Hungaricum Berlin was established in 1924 and re-opened its doors on historical grounds in Berlin-Mitte, Dorotheenstraße 12, in November 2007. The new institute was designed in the style of Neobauhaus and demands for contemporary contents and forms of expression. Over the course of the past two years the .CHB has emerged as an excellent centre for art and media within the cultural landscape of Berlin-Mitte. Since 2008 Collegium Hungaricum Berlin has been hosting projects on the intersection of art, science and research in close conjunction with transmediale. Corpora in si(gh)te, Transitland and the János Neumann Salon have been successful collaborations between both institutions.
