Because binary is the linguistic vehicle of the digital, a hunger for aesthetic knowledge has developed leading to a new enlightenment, a post-neocolonialism, and a new art movement: Binary Primitivism. The desire to understand the world has revealed that we have understood the world. And this enlightenment is the lost original, the “primitive.” It must, therefore, be reconstructed and recontextualized with the self-imposed aesthetic of “primitives.” The goal is the identification of isolated target groups and an aesthetic “exploitation” through infiltration and colonization of their digital habitats and communications networks.
